Practical Steps to Safety


This course is designed to meet the particular needs of staff e.g. that work in other people's homes, on reception, handle money etc.

The aim of this course is to increase awareness of the problem of violence at work and how to keep safe.

 

Who should attend?

All staff, that need to be introduced to the subject of violence at work and keeping safe.
It could also be included as part of general health and safety training.

 

Course Content:

The course covers the following topics:
• What is violence at work?
• Identification of risks that may be faced
• Practical steps to keeping safe
• Developing an action plan

 

Course Duration:

1 day

 

Assessment Method:

By means of a review of the students' own work practices

None
