This Fire Awareness Course endorsed by the Chief and Assistant Chief Fire Officers Association (C.A.C.F.O.A.) is aimed at all employees (particularly new staff) to help them identify and reduce the risks from fire in the workplace.
This course is designed to be implemented as part of an induction
programme or refresher training and uses videos, exercises etc

The qualification covers the following topics:
- How fires start
- How they spread
- How to prevent them
- Reporting hazards and deficiencies
- Fire drills and evacuation
- Actions on discovering a fire
- Raising the alarm
